Once more unto the breach dear friends

Doc asked Lucky "What happened to you?"
But Lucky just stared at him blankly...
Guess no one will ever know, but one thing for sure,
he wasn't born like this

I've taken this passage and pic from the latest post in Bin ...a desperate, reluctant housewife's blog.

I hope Bin doesn't mind me using her text and her pic but if you follow the link above there is an update on Lucky - so named by lovely Bin because he is.

No gruesome pics - just Lucky looking so much better.

There is also a donation via paypal on her site set up to help Bin pay for Lucky's soon to be surgery on his tail if you wish to donate.

But above all please keep sending lots of kind supportive lovin through the ether to the wonderful woman who has given Lucky a safe haven.

Thank you all, thank you so much for caring.

*****************************************

I am still waiting for the Tech people from faraway Dell Inc to give me a call to reawaken my proper pc.

Charlie on the otherhand has been leaving muddy pawprints everywhere....

Have a peaceful Wednesday, everyone.

Well, I got up the guts to head over to the blog now that the pics are less upsetting, and I still cried like a baby when I saw that poor kitty. Those pictures really make me hate people. And then people like Bin make me like them again.

Good luck with the computer - aren't they so fun!

Bless Bin and bless Lucky! We've been so scared to look at the pictures. We wish Lucky all the best in this world because that's what he deserves. We will try to help out on the surgery.

Oh that's just so sad. So sad. Poor cat. It's a rare cat that isn't easygoing and sweet.

I think you're lovely for trying to do your part to help this poor thing.

Tell Charlie I miss him. And his tail. Hope your Dell is up and running soon.

Aw, that wee Sweetie! Milton has given up the cost of his treats for the next month. How could anyone do that!! Sickened to the core...

Thanks for posting an update here, Old Kitty. What about writing this up for a news posting on the CB, so people can donate if they wish?

I'll go to her site next, thanks. Good luck re. the Dell tech. Great service, huh? (Sarcasm)

Thanks for the update on Lucky. I am so glad to hear that he is doing all right. I will go visit and help the best I can.
Hope they get that computer going for you soon. It is so frustrating for you, I know.

I was purposely not looking at pictures of this poor cat because I knew I couldn't handle it. Now I think I'm going to cry. No wonder you've been so down, Old Kitty.

Hi to Charlie!

He looks like such a sweet kitty. I can almost hear him, despite the injuries and the cone, purring in delight. So glad he and Bin found each other. He deserves someone like her after all he's been through. Lucky indeed!

Thanks for the update on Lucky - I will go over to the site again.

Lucky sure is, and very lucky indeed! No pc humans yet, where the Dell are they?

That is just so shocking! How can anyone do such a thing.

Thank you for making us aware of Lucky and Bin. I had not been here for a few days and just learned about them now. We're keeping them in our thoughts and purryers.

I didn't want to look, but I'm glad I did on your post just now. Lucky looks good considering. People can be monsters! Whoever did this should be branded with the letter "M", or have a part cut off just to be identified as the "cat maimer."

Today is the day that poor Kogenta was killed in Japan.
You can see the details here below.
http://www.dearkogenta.com/e/menu.htm

But before you see it,I have to warn you it is too terrible.

8 years have passed after this terrible thing happened, but I still feel so so painful about this....
Sometimes I can't eat at all when I think about what happened to him.

But in Japan, there are so many people who stood up for this kitty,Kogenta.
We never forget him.
Hope this poor kitty will feel better soon!!!!!

Glad to hear Lukcy is surviving. I can't bear to go to Bin's blog but pleasae pass on to her that most vet's would take Lucky on at no cost given what happened to him was animal cruelty..or one of the humane organizationa would gladly help with costs. They would have taken him in and to a vet if Bin had turned him over. She should not have to pay for his treatment. What a kind and brave soul she is.
